I saw where you can Change R76 on a Cobra 25 to a 1k to increase the mic. Does anyone know which one to change on a 29 to get the same effect? It worked good on my 25.

you really do need to check the mic though, stock mic's are made to reach at least 90-100% modulation, anything over that just drives it, it sounds a little louder, and may show a little more on a meter, but why? it sounds distorted anyway.

Excellent swing mod that can be done to that Cobra 25 to increase audio. Very simple and good results. See the modification sectiong and swing mod. Have done the mod to my Cobra 29, Cobra 21 GTL, and a Uniden, all with excellent results and loud modulation without distortion. Also have done a swing mod to a Magnum 257 with no problems, excellent modulation, no distortion.
