Well, I got my new system up and running. A Nagnum 257 and a KLV-450, up and working on my Starduster (Skylab). Now I need to make some contacts. Hey, I really like this amp! |

Yesterday, channel 38 LSB (27.385MHz) opened up and man was it busy! I heard people talking from early afternoon (California) to late into the night. Give me a call. I go by CA346, just like the Forum. |

Good morning gentlemen, I also run 27.385.0 LSB and the band has been open from ocean to ocean, listen for 962 South Central Oklahoma. Sorry Crackerjack, I think you're to close for skip and to far for local, I can talk almost into Dallas and Houston bangs in here, as well as ElPaso. 73, Carl CEF-357 |

I've made a couple of contacts in Texas this morning and am hoping to catch you out there. The conditions seem unstable but Texas is coming in. I'll keep my fingers crossed. |

LSB 27.385.0 It's pretty dead now, but haev been monitoring on and off since about 8:00 am PST. It was really moving for awhile, but it's died ouut now. I did hi OB 03 and DX 450, and a few others in Texas. Texas was pretty much all I could hear this morning. Sorry I missed ya, maybe this evening or tomorrow if conditions permit. |

Thats a 50-55 pound bluefin Tuna. It's small compared to the big guys that get over 600 pounds, but I don't think anything pulls as hard or is as strong as a Blurfin, they really are tough. I am 6'1" and about 280 pounds in the photo to give it some persective. |

Didn't hear any California at all this morning or early afternoon, right now the 11 meter band has gone to bed. might pick back up around 10:00 PM central time, if so I'll be on 27.385.0 LSB. Using my 962 number. 73, Carl CEF-357 |
