Well,

I am not sure and never noticed until I read this post.

I have noticed that the cost of maintaining a web site has increased over the years and it has become very costly and time consuming to maintain a web site and without a lot of traffic or money it may not have been cost effective to maintain it anymore.

It is very costly to maintain and continue to upgrade a site and adding more & more room and features and web space continues to cost more and more.

Web sites do become outdated and it takes MAJOR Time & Money to transfer everything over to a New or Larger site.

The Forummaster has spent 1000's of hours on this site since changing it over to the New Style Forum (several months ago) that you see now and we are still finding things we did not know were there and minor glitches.

It is sad to say but I have personally noticed that many of the Web sites that I have used/visited over the years are no longer there anymore and many have shutdown this past year.

Just a thought.
