Just before the hurricane I thought it might be a good Idea to pull the wilson 1000 off the car and store it in the trunk until after the storm. When I unscrewed the top water came out. Is this a problem or something I don't need to worry about? It seems to be screwed down tight.

Wendy,

I would guess it was just condensation that built up between the antenna and the inner seal on the base. With the Ring on the base it should prevent any of it from actually getting to the inner connector if it was tight.
