Hello everyone I'm new to this forum stuff but I can clearly see that I should have signed up a long while back, anyway enough of that stuff. My question is has anyone ever heard of any solid state Lloyd's C.B.'s of the am variety and if so does anyone please have any mod info on it ? |

Shure have .... Loyds were around for a while i even had one. As for moding one the one i had was a CRYSTAL PLEXER ( 23 ch ) and moding it at 25 dollars per 6 ch was a bit steep. If yours uses the pl-02 chip it should be moded by lifting 2 pins to a toggle switch. |

Hello Bruce and thanks for your info. I was thinking more in the line of tune up info but next time I take the cover off I'll make sure and checkout the PLL circut just to see for myself. The radio is a 40 channel A.M. only base. It has a brushed aluminum face' two meters and a built in alarm clock all digital, it is close in apperance and size to a Cherokee 2100 base. anyway sorry for getting a little too discriptive but I have scoured the net looking for anything on this beast and so far I'm s-o-l. Thanks again for your help bruce . The Rev...... |

This chip does not look like it can be modded you might have to use a EXPANDER BOARD. http://members.tripod.com/~Malzev/comp/lc7110.htm LC7110 (Sanyo) Vdd 1 20 Vss Fin 2 19 P1 RB 3 18 P2 RI 4 17 P3 RO 5 16 P4 ** 6 15 P5 AO 7 14 P6 AI 8 13 P7 PD 9 12 P8 LD* 10 11 P9 1=Locked, 0=Unlocked **Tied High An obsolete chip with internal ROM and binary inputs. As used in most models, N=150 (CH.1) to 194 (CH.40).
