Copper Forum Members,

Please read the Copper Forum Rules posted at the Top Left of the Copper Forum here under:

Forum Membership / Forum Rules.

The Very First Rule Listed is:

Advertising
You will not advertise or solicit other members to buy, sell or peruse any products or services through this discussion forum.
You may not post links to direct competitors of Copper Electronics.

When making your posts with Helpful Links included in them for the Copper Forum Members PLEASE go to that site and make sure there are no other links to other sites that would direct someone to a competitor of Copper Electronics or a site that offers the same products or services that Copper Electronics has to offer its members.

That will save the Techs and Moderators a LOT of time as we have to go to the links that are posted and then click on every single link in that post to make sure it meets the Guidlines and RUles of the Copper Forum before we can approve the post.

If a link that you have tried to post has any of the above in it, we cannot approve that link/post.

Your HELP in this matter will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Thank You!

Lon

Copper Forum Member's,

I have had to refuse several posts in the last few days because they contained Links to Competitors Web Sites in the Links they have posted.

3 of the 4 posts I refused DO NOT have the Forum Members e-mail address listed in the profile so I am UNABLE to write to them and let them know why the post was Refused.

PLEASE READ THE POST ABOVE AND FOLLOW THE COPPER FORUM RULES WHEN MAKING A POST.

Thank you,

Lon

So Lon,
That means that you want us to copy the contents of the pages (exclusive of ads)here? What about the link I posted from the ARRL page yesterday? Was that one of the ones you nixed? There is a single add at the top of that page. Unfortunately, it is a random ad, so when I look at it it may not have anything to do with a competitor of Copper Electronics. So does this mean that links to any radio site that displays ads is forbidden here?
By the way, I do have an email address in my profile and did not get an email to it either.
Confused by the rules yet again

Barracuda,

I was going to personally contact you directly to explain why I refused your post, but as you can see from the information below from your Profile the Techs and Moderators have no way of e-mailing or contacting you as you have your e-mail address HIDDEN in your Profile.

The only 2 people who have access to your Private information is You and the Copper Forummaster.

Your post did have a link it it to a competitor of Copper Electronics and that is why I refused it.

I have posted the FCC Link in the Topic titled: FCC NAL & NOF NOTICES for any Copper Forum Member to use to find this type of information if they choose to.

This also avoids any Conflict of Interest as the FCC web site has no ads listed.

If your e-mail address is not listed in your Profile then the Techs and Moderators cannot e-mail or contact you as to any problems that your posts may have or contact you as to why it was refused.
