I have an opertunaty to buy a Cobra 2000 base for 150 Canadian.Is the a good price and is the radio worth buying? |

A used radio is only worth what someone is willing to pay for one and unless you know the person with the radio and Actually have the chance to make sure it works an know of the problems it may have then it comes down to BUYER BEWARE! Just my thoughts. Lon Tech808 |

A friend recently GAVE me a Cobra 200GTL base and speaker, in good condition, but it did need some minor repair work. I had no use for it so I sold it to a radio shop that was interested in it for the ANTIQUE VALUE. They gave me $300.(now you know theyre gonna resell it at a profit) The important thing about the antique value is that the FACE on the unit is NOT ALTERED in any way. No extra switches for additional channels, etc...leave the face STOCK |
