i want to order the CONNEX 4800 DXL/E WITH ECHO but before i do i was wondering does this radio have dual clarifiers?and do they come unlocked from copper?thanks.......if any of you own this radio let me know how you like it.

had a cobra 148fgtldx, same radio(i believe the rci6900 is also)for a few days to mod for a local.
a lot of useful goodies, but i never got the same loud audio reports vs. my grant xl. even clipping limiter, it wasn't the same. could've been that particular radio, could've been me, but it prevented me from purchasing the 150 watt 6900ftb.
not that there was anything wrong with it, it just wasn't what I expected. i ended up with a magnum S9 which i am quite pleased with. so much so, i can't get it out of the house into the mobile yet! and the mobile is just the grant w/OLD boomer 250-for now!
