can anyone tell a newbie (IN VERY BASIC TERMS) how to convert a kl-60? thsnks in advance

To convert KL-60,take cover off. Locate the SO-239 that the wire is not soldered to. Solder the wire to the SO-239 connector. Replace cover and unit is ready to go.

Just in case, the SO-239 connector is where the coax screws on, except you do it to the inside part of connector.
