I just bought a galaxy saturn from somebody they said they took out a part to make the radio do only like 7 watts on am and 15 on ssb so he could run his low drive box. The problem is i can't get in touch with the guy to find out what the part was. Any help

Cobra0020,

Without having the radio on the bench to go thru and see, it would be impossible to determine what has or has not been removed.

He should NOT of had to remove anything in a Saturn to lower the dead key as the power is completely adjustable from the pots inside.

for the fun of it try turning the pots on the inside up.. see if the wattage goes back or close to back
