Starface,

Yes we had a couple of CEF Radio Club Gatherings last year for the Members.

1 was held at the I-80 Truck Stop in Iowa, and another one at the Peoria Superfest (Ham Fest) in Peoria Illinois.

We are also working on one for later in the year to be held at Copper Electronics for the CEF Radio Club Members.

If you want to hold one just let everyone know about it and they will show up.

Starface,

Sounds Great!

But you can have one anytime you want by just picking a day and location and letting Other CEF Radio Club Members know about it.

Our Walcott IA. metting started out when the 1st Sargant and I decided to drive over to IA to meet Lowpowerhal and Rosie for lunch and grew from there.

Sorry, but I don't know the area where you used to live as None of the Copper Techs or Moderators live in KY.

We all live in different states across the US and donate our time to help when & where we can here on the Copper Forum.

Kid_vicious,

It does not have to be at a ham fest but can be anywhere, anytime.

Just pick a place and a time and Post it for the Other CEF Radio Club Members to see.

Give plenty of advance notice so people can plan ahead for it, and you may have a good turn out to post and take plenty of pictures to post also.

ok I have this Idea..Orlando,Florida Has a Hamfest coming up Feb 11-13 that I plan going to..I'm going to talk with Cindy Radice, KD4NLV
who runs the show and see If I can rent out a space for next years hamfast (2006)...As with this being now the 20th of Jan 2004 it wouldn't I'm sure give enough planning, saving time for this year...
like a check in point for those that come...
We can all meet,Sign a CEF check in book, cut the bull and tell our Ham,CB stories, some can even bring Ham.CB stuff to Buy,Sell or Trade...
I'll post again on this after Feb 13th 2005 and tell all know what I came up with...
