Hey all,
Been a long while since on forum here! I am up in Hong Kong working till mid 2005. I have not the best location to run radio (ground floor middle of Central district) BUT plan on doing some portable set-ups on friends roof tops in near future. Great electrical stuff here, they are rightinto FRS here, except they run on 409 MHZ, but picked up quite a few HT radios, made in China that cover 137-174 Mhz and 400-470 Mhz (fully digital with display, 2 watts, removable antenna etc for ....$26 USD !!!

Hope all is well there.
Cheers & 73's

Gidday 60's. What are you using on 11m?
Plenty of North south skip these days so we will be looking out for you from 91 division on 27555 USB.
Can you buy export CB radios in Honk Kong these days?

hey there,
Got my 706 here, dipole, and power supply. Had to travel light , left the Kl 1000 at home!! You can buy mainly ham gear and tons of different VHF-UHF walkie talkies, that cover all frs-gmrs 2mt 440mhz etc for really cheap. Will announce what day I will be on 555, probably will nominate a different frequency though, too many idiots there now.
Cheers
Andrew
