Hello friends! Ok I have an Imax 2000 and I use a Connex 4800 with it. To my amazement I appear to be getting 1.1 - 1.5 swr across the entire bands A-L. Puzzling because everyone told me " Hey you need 4 antennas ". What gives? Anyone else get SWR results like this? By the way..... on every freq the radio puts out at least 90%

Hotwire,

WELCOME TO THE COPPER FORUM!

The performance you are getting is 100% STANDARD with the IMAX.

Off hand I would say (everyone) knows nothing about the IMAX.

Yes EVERYONE gets results like that with the IMAX 2000.

You can read several other posts here in the OPEN Area on the IMAX just scroll down in the topics here.

Hope this helps,

Lon

Yeap, couldn't believe it myself, but it's true. The only question I keep asking myself is, why didn't you get one sooner?

I get 94% with my IMAX and expect it to improve slightly as I finish the installation. It is a great antenna, bar none!

I wish I'd bought one when I first got back into cb and radio. Look at the money I've spent to arrive at this point. If you are new, go ahead and try the Imax first. You will be pleasantly surprised. There really is something new in cb since the 80's.

Oh yeah I know! Certainly one amazing antenna! Been in radio for bout 25 years and very impressed with iMAX. Been lookin at them beam antennas though. Light bulbs going off in my head. To many darn trees in my yard thats why I considered Imax.

Good choice. I may get a beam again someday but I don't know why or what! The Imax should fit the bill.
