I have a d-104 handmike wired for my Lincoln. Is there an adaptor I can buy to use it with my Magnum 257?

Thanks,

Why dont you make one...

Get a small metal project box, a male mic connector such as the one in the radio, a short length of mic cable and a female mic connector like the one your mic uses to plug into the radio.

Use the small metal box as the commoon ground, drill a hole in the box large enough to attach the male mic connector on the project box and run jumpers as appropriate to the fmale mic connector--which will of course be plugged into the secondary radio.

Thanks for your straight forward answer. I'm ordering a DM-452.

Mikefromms,

Have you put and amp behind the 257 yet? I was wondering if the RF output goes low enough with the RF out knob on the 257. -OR- what's the lowest deadkey of the 257 stock?

Chad,

I have used the MAGNUM 257 with the KL40, KL60, KL300P and KL500 as well as with our KLV1000 with NO PROBLEMS!

With the Variable RF Output Power you can adjust the power from 1 watt up to 10 watts.

Check out the Review I have posted as it lists ALL of the features the MAGNUM 257 has and should answer a lot of the questions you may have.
