Hi Folks,
Getting ready to put my JoGunn 4 element horizontal back up, I wondered if anyone had the measurements the elements are supposed to be, I still have the instructions, but it doesnt state the element lengths. I have done a google, and all that, no luck. Any help out there? No smart remarks from the peanut gallery, Bruce!!

You could call them and I'm sure they would be more than happy to tell you the length and any thing else you want to know.

Smoke gain is figured by LxW/ForcexDistance over 300/f(mhz)with the fluxcapcitor figured in at 1/2 over3.

Gage i thought it was

S ( SMOKE ) = ((M*v/V+M)+ (D*v/V+V)/ COST OF JOGUNN))

M= mass in KG
V= volts in mega volts
D= distance to ground

Im glad you cleared that up.

Audio gain is Modulation/300f(mhz)by h=468/f divided by-3

Gage DBD = gain over a 1/2 wave dipole
DBI = gain over a isotropic antenna
DGJ = Gain as JOGUNN measures it ........

( referance antenna is down a 1000 foot well and is made of a lightbulb incased in lead. )

Audio gain and smoke gain are just made up .... depending on sales quotas for that week .....

Bruce,

I once heard that Jo-Gunn uses a special metal
Alloy only found on Mars and that they have
exclusive rights to this alloy./ Maybe this
explains the high Audio levels that are
produced.... just a thought.

You guys are gonna love this, I e-mailed JoGunn, and asked for the measurements, they answered very promptly, and advised me that they did not divulge that information on the internet, and that I should call (which I will, thanks Lon). Must be something to do with that secret gain formula, haha.

Would that be a mulit-band antenna?If so I would be interested as I have been studing CW and I'm about ready to take my test.This JoGunn clone with multi-band tx/rx would work out great!
