Well all I thought I would tell you that there will be a new forum member soon! I doubt there will be many posts any time soon but in about7 months there will be a mini BC poopin in its diapers  My wife and I have bee married about 3 years and this is #1 so I don't know quite what I am in for but I am sure it will be interesting.
She had her second appointment today, got the first ultra sound, saw the heart beating, and saw the legs move! Unfortunately I had to work and couldn’t be there 
Any way thought I would let y'all in on it

Congratulations! A word of advice for you - don't miss any more doctor appointments dude. You don't want to miss anything, and you will score BIG points with your wife and mother in law.
I don't have children, but my twin sister had her first child last July. Her husband was called to duty the previous November and deployed to Iraq in February. I don't really know how he felt about missing things, and I'm not close enough to him to ask or discuss it, but my sister was really sad that he wasn't there to share in the process with her. Even if you don't want to be there - be there. |

BC...this life changing thing is a GOOD thing...so take it the appropriate way! The best thing to come from my marriage is my child. That, I will never have second thoughts on...his mother on the other hand...that's another story! Congrats my friend!! |

I can't resist! If you are a basket CASE, will the little one be a basket six pack or just a 12 oz. can for a while. DON'T take this too far and ask your better half in a few months if she wants to be the basket KEG. She will rightfully kill you :-)
Seriously, I echo all of the congrats and warnings of the previous postings. Oh, and don't put the monkey's Larry King glasses on the child.

JUST HOLD HER HAND AND GIVE HER ALL YOUR LOVE AND ATTENTION AND MORAL SUPPORT. LIE TOO HER AND TELL HER HOW BEAUTIFUL SHE IS AFTER DELIVERY.
IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW MY ADVICE, YOU WILL BE DIVORCED IN LESS THAN 5 YEARS----GARRENTEED!!!!!
YOU, AS A MAN, HAVE NO IDEA HOW IMPORTANT THIS IS. SHE WILL EVEN TELL YOU TO GO SEE YOUR BABY, BUT YOU MUST NOT---NO MATTER HOW MUCH SHE BEGS---SHE IS TESTING YOU WITH TEMPTATION.

ah yes! little boys! mine is a 1st degree brown belt in shaolin/kempo/karate (mainly self defense form of martial arts, therefore lots of sparring-kicking, punching, etc) & his little brother lives & sleeps lacrosse. OUCH! i may have more aches, pains, bruises, & lumps then they do! and don't forget the messes little boys make, the things they break & the trouble they get into! glad i was a good kid!
as they say, i should've raised chickens, at least i would have gotten eggs! |
