Diggerodell,

Yes it should work with your President Lincoln radio.

You will need to set your dead key to around 2 to 2-1/2 watts drive into it.

Hope this helps,

Lon

there is no way that single pill amp will do 200 watts without being driven into distortion powered by a lightning bolt.

very very very true... you can only get about 60 watts on AM an almost 100 on ssb.. thats driving it with 3 watts.. if you want this amp.. you are better off paying an extra 50 bucks for TS MOD-V... least you get the qulaity... i had the 203, 300p, an all they are; is a modulator that is bottom of barrel dirt cheap... the pills don't last even if you run it with 2 watts dk.. but thats just my 2 cents,, an the last penny's worth,, buy a TEXAS STAR!!..

agreed, now if it really did 200 watts id feel stupid for spending 3 times what that costs for my texas star that does that. another way to tell is to look at the amp draw, it draws a max of 12 amps for 200+ watts you are looking at 19-22 amps.

I run a KL200P...deadkey it with 1 watt swinging to 18 watts

I get 100 watts AM - 150 watts SSB.

Installed a fan on it, stays cool..run it daily now for over a year and no problems. I get clean modulation and have made good contacts.

Not the best amp...but depending on the setup the little KL's can do the job easily. Got mine for $49.

Not familiar with the radio but if you have an adjustable RF receive gain then go for the KL300P, I have found the preamp to be too much on full receive gain, this can be defeated after warranty, just do a search here. Great little amp for the price, it's small and easy to tuck away.
