if i do the channel mod what would be the amount of stations gained,and would they be uppers or lowers

Hey Skilletlicker!!! Will you please let us know how your channel mod turns out? I have been debating on doing that mod to my 959 myself but dont know if I can. The local techs say it cannot be done but CB tricks says yes. Usaully that means the tech dont know how.... when they say not possible. Well good luck to you sir and keep us posted.

Well it looks to me like it would be very simple
cutting a wire and hooking it to a switch

Well Skilletlicker I gave it a shot and it was a success! The freq counter even works showing the channel as well. Lots of channels but now if I can find the 10 kc switch mod there would be lots more.

Oh and I went and bought 2 on off switches instead of the trouble of using existing switches. That would be a mess. I had to drill 2 holes out a little wider in the back of the set and was a perfect fit.
