Any of you guys have thunderboomers yesterday. I had drove to my barn in the back of the pasture yesterday morning and a nice storm was brewing up in the west. I had my digital camera so made a few pictures.

In this next one you can see my house a quarter mile across the field, you can almost see my tower.

I zoomed in on this one, you can see my beam.

And this one was made a few days before when the sun was bright.

The thunderstorm made more noise than anything, just rained a small amount and turned cooler. It actually went around to the west, then up that river valley in front of my house. That mountain in from of our place is about 10 miles away, there's a river down in that valley about 700 feet lower than my place which is at abt 1200 feet elevation. This is storm season in Arkansas.

Thanks coyote: Year I've got fish in those ponds. There's two ponds, the one you can see in the picture, then a levy with another pond below. The first one catches the runoff water, when it gets about full it runs out the spillway into the other one. The one you can see has a varity of fish, mostly bass, and i've got the other one stocked with catfish. The grandkids enjoy that.

Thanks Al, i've worked a long time to get things like I want them, now if I can be around a few more years to enjoy them.

Hey I threw out a little feed to see if the catfish would come up this afternoon, and a few smaller ones did, haven't been feeding them, they want eat much in cold weather. Here's a couple pictures.

And those are the SMALL ones??? Man, I'd like to see the BIG ones. Those are really some great looking ponds. I can see exactly where I'd be during my free time if I was there.
Kind of funny seeing the cat in front of the catfish pond, but he's going in the wrong the direction, the fish are the OTHER way kitty.

Nice looking place Srappy. We've had 11 1/2 inches of rain in 3 weeks here in Ga. Most of the ponds here busted out and are over flowing . Nice pic's..73.. Hank
