I live in the west central Illinois area. I have noticed that there are several radio operators registered in the forum in the immediate area. Would people be interested in having some meetings (small Jamborees) in these areas. Maybe after time we can recruit members and the Jamborees will grow into what they were back in the 70s. Just a thought, we use to have tower raising parties at peoples homes with back yard cook outs. Gets people with similar interest together and some fun can be had as well.

Not a bad ideal. I live in south central Indiana. There are a whole lot of cbers around here. Lots of knuckleheads but a lot of really nice people.
