Got to use the radio on my 15 min break today.

Heard -

Sarasota, Florida 777?
Nashville, Arkansas 145
Texas 455
and some station in California tried to get back to me but I didn't get his #'s.

Another local station and I were hitting people pretty good. Also heard an Oahu station I think calling out..177 maybe, calling himself the little grass shack

Good W-E skip rolling from here, pretty cool to hear West, Mid, and East Coast in 15 minutes.

Does seem awfully quiet out there tonight. Problem is that to me that means there is too much coverage. I seem to do much better when the skip is heavy on almost every (120!) channel. I can almost pick and choose when I get a break in!
Funny how 30mi is hard sometimes but 800mi is do-able? Conditions conditions conditions!
