Hey everyone. I have decided to take a short vacation from radio for awhile, including visiting any and all websites. Hopefully this will get me better focused on trying to make this new business venture work. Otherwise I will fail miserably! It has nothing to do with friends on this forum or any where else. I just need to get FOCUSED on this business.
If anyone needs to get in touch with me to say hey, please feel free to e mail me at keithinatlanta@juno.com. I hope Copper will NOT take my CEF 150 number back. But if they have to, I totally understand. I just have got to spend my time for the next four months concentrating on my job! This is a major business decision that had to be made. I hope you all understand. Please let me hear from you via e mail, as this will be the last week I will be going onto websites for a few months.

Many many thanks to everyone who has helped to educate me about different topics in CB world.

Best regards,

Keith in Atlanta

Best of luck to ya! I know it's kind of hard to focus on anything when you've got an obsession such as this!
Hope all works out well and hope to see you back soon~

Take it from a fellow self-employed individual... Your business will soon become your hobby! Not only does your business actually own YOU, it becomes such a huge part of your life, you eventually can't imagine life without it. Guys that have always worked for someone can never understand the satisfaction and independance and responsibility of your own business. Making the payroll, taxes, etc. is a HUGE responsibility. Especially when you get big enough to have a company picnic. You look around at all the wives, kids, and families out there and say to yourself that YOUR business supports ALL these people, not just the employees themselves. THAT is when it really sinks in and you get a big lump in your throat. There is nothing like it. GOOD LUCK!!!

Sounds like we all understand.

Keith,

go forth and do well in your business venture. Radio will miss you, and it's a great hobby, but your venture has importance. We wish you the absolute best!

Stop by if you have the chance and let us know how things are going. You will always be welcome here for sure, and it would be nice to hear from you from time to time.

Work hard (but smart) and you will succeed.

If this thread keeps up like this, you won't be able to retire from CB radios as planned. LOL.

GOOD LUCK with your new biz.

KeithinAtlanta, as you can see, this forum can be very addicting. I can't go 2 days without checking in. I suspect that the same will apply to you. That's why when I check the last time you logged in, it cracks me up, LOL. It's like giving up chocolate, Lay's BBQ chips, or even women. Feel the knawing chest pains as each hour passes, not knowing what new and exciting informative posts have cropped up on Copper. Feel the beads of sweat roll down your forehead as you prolong the agony. Had enough?? LOL. Good luck Keith.
Wolverine.

Keith, we all wish we could retire. I would love to be able to call in sick to work for the rest of my life. I don't see that happening any time soon.
As Wolverine put it, I check in here many times a day to see whats new or even look through old posts, just for something to do and to keep the symptoms he mentioned from happening. You'll find yourself coming here just about any time your at a PC and need a break. Bet!

See ya.

Many Copper Forum Members find reading the Forum to be;

Informative, Relaxing, Entertaining and Fun.

There are no rules saying anyone has to post.

It also helps prevent "Forum Withdrawal" pains from setting in.

That is true. However, it is hard to read and not respond sometimes. Just like the post above about best mobile. It took me four words.
Uniden Grant XL Keith.
But it took time.:-)

Anyway, I will be back. Today is last day.
