does anyone have the new 2995 yet and how do they like it so far? Im thinking maybe someday selling my old 2990 and getting a newer radio like the 2995. |

Have had mine for 2 weeks. So far so good. Copper was supposed to have tuned it up and they did convert it to 11 meters ($30). It puts out 150 watts with a whistle. Normal talking around 100 watts pep.
The swr meter doesn't work correctly.
Have had some good compliments on the clarity of the modulation.
I think that you will like it.
I can't find any modification information on the radio. I would like to open the clarifier. Too new I guess.
