since copper has worked to design their own special mic(the compression base mic), why can't they get with a meter-builder & come up with a high quality, high wattage/LOW wattage swr/wattmeter(that's fairly accurate at both ends of the scale) AND has a wired-remote sending unit, for mobile installations(like the autek & palstar wm150m) so the meter can be near the operator(base or mobile) & not need jumpers running all over the place?

just thinking out loud

Well,Pat, if you get with forummaster and show him your plans and come up with a prototype, maybe he'll contract you to build him a bunch or sell him the prototype and so on,sorry just thinking aloud, too.Bigbob
