A MFJ dummy load

A Tripod for my digital camera that can allow it to point DOWN to take pics of tech stuff (circuit boards, etc)

A KLV400

I'm going to get myself another Magnum 257 (I think) One must give gifts to themselves!

In all actuality my lady and I are foregoing large gifts and pooling our gift resources to remodel a bathroom, so we are both getting a new whirlpool tub/bigger shower!

...i picture them pudgy little elves' fingers working off-season at 'earl's clip 'n' snip cb shop'. so, santa, if you wouldn't mind, cash will do just fine, thankyou, & i'll get what i NEED. hundreds, please, as 20's will make the box bigger then it really needs to be. i wanted to let sinker know i could hear him today but couldn't get back. with the right amount of cash, i'd be able to let him know next time. actually, he'd be able to hear ME telling him when there are NO conditions.

actually sinker, you said it best with 'As for radio stuff here is what I still want'- there isn't much i NEED, what i 'want' is a different story.

All I want, is peace and a good nights rest where I don't feel like I just went to bed when I get up. And more than 4 or 5 hours of sleep would be nice too. And not have'n to take drugs every day to be able to make it through each said day without a raging headache or backache.

A new roof on the house and to have a few walls that the termites decided were delicious fixed would be kinda nice too.

Maybe a newer truck with a few less miles on it and comfy seat.

Oh.. and a long pole or something to get my antenna higher so I can be heard. (see posting in CEF NET Connections)

(sung as "White Christmas")
I'm dreaming.. of a new wife.
Just like the one I used to have.
Where the radios glisten..
and there is no nagging so I can listen..
To rare DX.. instead of honey-do lists.
etc. etc.

Dan, there are women like that out there. My wife never nags me. She wants me to enjoy my radios. She's happy I hang around the house. You can rest assured I respect her and whatever she likes or wants to buy I don't say a word. When a home is both the man's and women's castle everyone is happier.

AMEN there Mikefromms!
My 1st wife nagged me to death! We are
divorced! Can't understand why she would get mad at me just because i essembled a Sigma 4 (copy)
in the house...LOL...
My second wife does not nag me at all and even
helped me put part of my I-10k antenna together
in the house. She's just glad i stay home...

I think I'm getting everything I wanted this Christmas. First, I should be home by then. Second, my wife just ordered for me an MFJ-259B antenna analyzer (with the AC adapter and carrying case), and also a MFJ 1.5KW dummy load.

Combined with what I purchased and have sitting at home from Coppers, it's going to be a fun day opening presents.

I can't ask for more than that!

Mikefromms and Road_warrior,
Remember, wifes tend to change with time and sometimes they change with a vengence. Mine never complained until the last year (after being together for twenty-six years). Now it is constant. True, I do have too much stuff from too many hobbies; radios (broadcast receivers from the 20s and 30s, CBs, ham, scanners, antennas etc) old cars, motorcycles, cameras, computers and a motorhome. But only recently has it become a problem (to her). So, to quote a tombstone from Arizona beware: "Pause as you pass me by, so as you are, so once was I. And as I am, you too soon will be".

Well I found a nearly new Uniden Washington for not too much. That is a good start. I would like all my contacts to be 59+ 30 db but the G5RV is not going to allow that.

In all honesty, wishing all forum members a safe, happy holiday season, peace, and safety for our troops.
