I have had a KL-200P for about two years now and I have over driven it, over used it and just plain abused it and its still working great today. The only problem I have had with it is that it gets really hot when talking for extended periods of time but every amp I have owned did that. Oh and the Pre-Amp quit working once due to a leaky cap.

I think the thing has supposed to have an input of 4 Watts max and I know I have exceeded that many times on accident by not turning down my radios power.

I used to use this amp with a Cobra 148 that on low dead keyed about 1 1/2 Watts and swung around 15 and I was seeing a 20 watt dead key and about 80 Watts peak on AM with SSB peaking at about 130 Watts or so.

With my Magnum 257 and a 2 Watt dead key swinging to almost 40 watts I am seeing 25 Watts on dead key and 85-90 Watts Peak and about 125 Watts on SSB.
