it had a mrf 477 but we all know that they are vary hard to find
what can we put in it's place to get 40+ watts out of it
a tech told me the radios are junk
after the finals go in them
i like this radio and thank it's worth fixing

the tech where i live told me that the jackson line of radios are junk out of the box
what a let down |

What's the difference between the Jackson and the President Grant besides the # of bands? I would not throw it away. It has to be repairable. Cool radio. |

Wow, I appreciate that Patzerozero. Very informative!
As far as the final I can't help much but look at the same mods for the 2510 final. They have the same issue maybe the new PA section of the Lincoln is the same, what's the final,a 455? (With the tab, not the flange)
