HI CAN ANY ONE TELL ME WHAT THE BAST FOR ME ? I WILL USE IT W TS-450 AND I NEED TO FIND OUT DOS THE AMP HAVE PROTECTION HI SWR,HI TEMP....?? AND CAN I GET OUTPUT POWER MORE OF 1000 WATTS ?? |

im not really familar with that radio but id definatwely say you need the 1000p.it requires 60-100 watt drive.im pretty sure that 450 will drive it good.the standard kl-1000 seems like it only needs about 10 or 12 watts pep.btw these are all pep numbers.i dont know what kinda dk the kl-1000p will handle dale/a.k.a.hotrod cef426 cvc#64

I run my 1000p with 25 DK & 100 PEP . been working good at that a long time |

Don,t think quite that much . maybe 1100 , but really at that wattage what would be the difference ? I can tell you one thing , at that watt it causes less tvi than than TEXAS STAR 250 |

1861 your right people forget, to increase one "S" unit on the other persons radio you would have to increase wattage by 600 watts so the difference between 1000 and 1200 would not show that "S" unit |
