Been a while since I posted anything and wanted to say hello. Just installed a 6 element Gizmotchy antenna the other day and this thing is awesome. I didn't leave it in the original configuration though. I called Tom and told him that I was planning on stretching out the boom to 32 feet. He was very helpful in getting me the extra parts that I needed. This thing is a monster but it weighs very little and is amazing in the gain. I sit in the middle of GA and have been talking a distance of 150 to 200 miles at night on 2.5 watts. I love antennas and have always built my own out of scrap parts. I have built everything from stack 3's and 4's to six element quads and this is undoubtably the strongest antenna that I have used. If you need a good antenna give the Giz a try. I don't believe that you will be sorry.
