Well It's here ..... and you can't miss it ..... KU4?? has done it again ..... this time a 28 mhz squailo ! I put it together and sunday even put it up 20 foot to do some testing with local stations. VSWR test showed it under 1.5:1 at 28.500 and under 2:1 from 28.000 - 29.000 and within 1 "S" unit of a dipole at the same hight. SQUAILOS are dependent on location and need to be kept clear of other horizontal antennas. Phil takes short cuts which I find anoying like the way he mounts the pl-259 but the materials are good and my SQ-144's and SQ-50 have lasted for years with NO PROBLEMS. THIS IS A LARGE ANTENNA FORMING A ALMOST 6 FOOT SQUARE ..... like I said your locals will have no problem finding you ...... It's not cheap at about $100 but if you have no room it would fit nicely under any CB vertical ..... as long as it has no radiles .... or a VHF antenna like a comet with short ones. If you need a horizontal 10 meter antenna that only need a a pole to mount on this may be for you but again not cheap. Bruce CEF-132 On 6 since 66
