Just picked up a Jo Gunn Son of a Gun all directional, this antenna is approximately 26-27 feet long with the four ground plane radials at 90 degrees to the vertical mast (not angled down like the newer Son of a Gun); can anyone help with the starting measurements for the gamma???
Have a great day!!!

Hey Mudslinger, I was just reading older post and I seen this one. I was wondering how the Son of a Gun is doing? I have always been interested in a gamma matched omni but haven't been in contact with anyone who has one.

After Jo Gunn assisted me with the tuning specifications the antenna was a breeze to adjust the SWR with the gamma, 1.1 and less across the 40 channels. Antenna does a great job on receive and transmit.
Have a great day!!!
