i like the looks of the sirio wondering if anyonne has compared the 2.i found assem. directions on the sirio seems easy to assembly

I have one it replaced my Maco 5/8.
It is easy assembly, better material, virtually no adjustments except putting the sections together, which are pre drilled, has rubber jackets over the sections where you mount the screws for waterproofing, a jacket over the area where the pl259 plugs in also. swr 1.1 on 26 and 27 and 28 megs, time to assemble 20 to 25 minutes. The Maco never got that swr, and needed a lot of adjustments and bent permanently in winds over 75 mph.
SIRIO 2016 is a winner.

I was wondering how it performs next to an Imax 2000,the 2000 being 24 feet long and the Sirio being only 20 feet?

I don't own a IMAX but my friend does DUTCHMAN CEF 971, he also has a SIRIO 2016 and says the Sirio out performs the IMAX..

The Sirio 827 is a 5/8 wave and 22' long and has 8 radials that are 4.6 feet long and claims 3.65 dBi. The 2016 is 5/8, about 20' high and has 16 radials that are 4.6 feet and claims 3.45 dBi. I think the 827 is more competitive vs Imax than the 2016 is, but until you actually use it with your set up, you"ll never know IMHO. Example, Revpo's friend having his 2016 out do the Imax. |

any difference in tx/rx in the two that will
be the TRUE test
