What is the best way to run the ts1000 with the ts mod V with the 2517 GALAXY, and the 2950 rci dx

Dutchman, Well the mod v dose not like a high dead key at all and you will also have to watch the pep of the radio. you'r best bet if you are stuck usin those radio's is to keep the dead key down to a min and adjust pep with the audio. The MOD V was not designed with EXPORT radios in mind. and if you can you should purchase a radio with a driver build in for the ts1000 IMHO the RCI 2970 works the best for ts1000 excelent audio and great drive, also i have used the mag s-980 with great reports. But again if you have to use the MOD V with what you got just keep the radio down low. hope this helped, this is from my own experience's

Hey thanks Golden Screw Driver , yes that what I do very low 10w- 850 its doing well so far. Thanks again will look into the 2970
