I wasn't impressed on first try so ended up putting it in its box for 3 months. Decided to get it out an mess with it some more and found the best settings and I am now very happy with the speaker. I use it on my magnum 257 base setup and wow what a difference it makes in hearing someone over the noise especially on ssb. Wouldnt be without one now. Though yes the price is very expensive I paid around $150.00 which is almost as much as I paid for the magnum 257 alone. If you ever get one be sure to take the time to experiment with its many settings etc or you may do what I did on my first try. Luckly I was bored with nothing to do when I tried it the second time or otherwise I would not have discovered how well it works with the tweaking of the settings and would have missed out one what it has to offer. Now if I can find a cheap used one for my car.
