Now there is a radio I would love to do a review on as well. I loved the 257 Lon let me borrow a few years back. Can't wait to check the new version out!

I received an email from Mr Sam Lewis today....

Good afternoon
The 257 is being updated to the 257HP. The radio will have the RFX 75 added during the manufacturing process. This is the only change, the transmit/receive circuits are exactly the same as the original 257. The radio will now be rated at 80 watts PEP AM and 70 watts PEP SSB.

There are a very limited number of radios in the country at this time and a large shipment will arrive at the end of March.

Thank you
Sam Lewis
