Hi guys I'm considering getting the new Connex Saturn base station and wanted to know what the pros think about it. There's a review of it on youtube and it seems like a nice unit. The review mentions a switching power supply. Also that it utilizes the new chip. It's a good looking radio and seems to use the latest technologies. Is it worth the $500 or better to save a few bucks and get the rci2980 or even the galaxy2517?? Perhaps the RCI2995? I've read a few other forums and you guys seem to have a pretty good understanding of the products out there. |

awesome radio!!!!! had mine tuned up by a local guy, its louad and proud and has clean audio, this rig is built for the ssb user in mind, I have mine pushin a Xforce 40012 4pill, getting about 750 watts!!! great radio. |
