Don't waste your money, spend a little more and get a good radio. I have one only cause I was in a bind on my way on a hunting trip and needed a CB so I literally bought one on my way to meet the caravan and hooked up on the road. It will do the job if your within a mile or two.I just ordered a Voyage VR 9000 with a KLV40 amp and wilson 5000 antenna, thats a hell of an upgrade. I think I am gonna very happy.

You would be better off just to spend twenty or thirty dollars more and get a better cb. If you are just going to run AM only look at the uniden pc68 or the cobra 25 .
With those radio's set up right and a good ant you may not need power at all.
beleive me i've been there and you will be glad you spent the little extra. |
