Try a Goldline. I have the HC-4 and 5 on mine. Great reports on the 940. If ya really like to taylor your audio, try an EQ from W2IHY. Good luck.

Kirk

How do you like the EQ from W2IHY?

Did you get the Dual Band or the 8 Band and what kind of reports are you getting about it?

I've been considering getting one myself since that aren't really that expensive as compared to most high power 10 meter radios sold these days.

What impresses me about them is the fact that they will make ANY microphone sound great on them. Well, at least that's what they are claiming.

Jeff-- I think if you purchase one you'll love it! Some fellas go hog wild with eq (enough to drive ya nuts) but this one I have (8 band) does a terrific job on my 940. I've gotten many reports of "excellent, well balanced audio." I like using the HC-5 (wide) with the W2IHY taylored for my voice (obviously). The nice feature also in this eq is the gate. I run a Henry 2KD and it is a noisy sucker...but the gate helps a ton! I think you'll like the versatility. I have yet to try a Sennheiser 421 or my prize AKG 414 on it, but someday.....:) Good luck and 73---Kirk
