I was browsing u tube videos and found this video on there where this person found a hidden feature of the radio where you can unlock and set the dead key from the face on the radio by a series of commands. Heres a link to it -

I have one ordered on the way and will check for myself if this works. If it does I wonder if there are any more hidden things? |

I will give it a try when I get mine. It is supposed to be here tomorrow. Hopefully the guy in the video is telling the truth? |

Well I received my radio today and I tried it and could not get it to work either.
Radio is nice though and the receive is nice and clear. I am waiting till later today/ tonight when the skip ends and see how the sensitive the receive is for distant nearby towns. |

He's full of it. That radio has a variable wired in to the rf gain knob. He didn't key the radio after he turned the "rf gain" back up... |
