Anyone have any input on these as far as being just a AM CB radio?

It is an AM radio only and seems priced too high for what it is.

I'd go with the 919 and a good super tune. Don't let anyone talk you into removing the modulation limiter. There are a lot of pros and cons out there about it. If you want everyone knowing where you're at, take it out and you won't just occupy one set of sidebands. The 919 for the $ is LOUD with just a tune. If you just have to reach out there get an amp like the w90.00006KL-300p and good antenna. Copper's has it all for ya.
