WOULD LIKE ANY INFORMATION ON MOHAWK LINEAR AMPLIFIERS. WHO MADE THEM? WHAT WAS THE OUTPUT( esp.the Mohawk 10),where can I obtain schematics for them,what are the drive requirements? Thanks, Mousetrap

The Mohawk 10 had 1 (or sometimes 2) 6146B tube driving two 572B tubes. You could get an honest 500 or so watts SSB out of it.

I'm not sure who made it, but I had a friend back in the 70s who had one. He was a "Bad Man" with it!

It seemed to be made for straight CB drive because of the 6146B driver tube.
