I was wondering if anyone can tell me about these radios I found one looks new still has box and manuals I think its one of the older President radios

I suppose you have already found out that information by now, but I think they were very similar to the Uniden PC122, and the Cobra 146GTL radios all with SSB. For the money, they were good "entry level" SSB radios. I wish they made all three of these radios. I knew owners of each of these radios, and they said they were solid, high quality radios. Of course, this was at least 10 years ago, give or take. I wish I could find some NOS of any of these radios.

the p300 is a good talker on ssb it is like the 146 but with a different face -- if u turn down the power a little they have wild audio-- i have one and also its brothe the pc244 |
