I have an Golden Eagle 377XL, it looks exactly like a Galaxy 477XL physically, but in lieu of 4 2SC2990's it uses two 2SC7879's. Does anyone have a schematic for this amplifier? My object is to change the carrier operated relay circuit to a push to talk keyline. I cannot see the components so I can't figure out the schematic. Also, if anyone has one, what has been your experience?

Gee, I thought this was a Texas Star 400 topic question. Jimmy that is a common problem and a simple fix. The key up switch or relay is stuck in the transmit mod. When the amp worked and you went to talk you would hear a click when you key the mic, and it would let go when you un-key. Well it went click and stayed there, should cost 20-25 dollars to fix and you will be all set.
