Out of the the 3 I've had you needed to pull a IC out of the small board on back of the main board for 11 meter use. |

I've had my KLV 200 for about a week now, and it is a great amp. I drive it with a 2 watt carrier and only modulate 100% and have gotten reports that the audio is loud and clean. On high, the forward meter shows that the amp is doing more than the 100 watt maximum listed in the manual for AM. |

Cliff, If you have been using it and it's working, then you have to do nothing. It's already setup. The mod (or lack of it) won't hurt your amp or equipment, but you won't sound worth a darn on the 11 meter band. If you sound good, worry no more. Is yours the mobile? If so, the mod is just like the older 351 the 400 replaced. I can help you there. Good luck. Alsworld |

Does any one know what type of Biasing RM uses on the KLV 200 base amp? I know the mobile amps are class C. |

Hey Hawk, I'm not sure about the 200 base, but I think you may be incorrect about the KL mobile amps. I'm positive the 400 is class AB1, and the 300 is class B. Not sure about the rest but not all are class C. Hopefully the Techs can answer your question better than I. Good luck brother. Alsworld
