Anyone have any mod's that can be done for a radio shack pro 2045? I also would like some info if this scanner can have a G-whiz kit installed. Thanks a bunch!!

A cool feature of the 2045 is the channel selectable attenuator.This allows you to reduce the strength of the received signal on selected channels.
I thought the G-Whiz could be installed in any scanner.Around here I do not need one.Almost all the public safety agencies use Motorola or Kenwood radio systems.

46 mhz is full of cordless and baby monitors though.
