Saw an old antenna here were I live. I think its an old super maggie. The guy has it up on his house and i know darn well he doesnt use it. You guys know much about this antenna and think it would be worth the bother to ask the guy if hed sell it? |

the old mag and supper mags were the standards of the day as good as most today and well built just look at how many are still standing after 25 years |

Hoosier, like Bruce said, they were/are good old antennas, kinda limited on power handling. I don't know for sure what they were rated at, but I remember burning the coil out on one up with a Maco 300. |

Dunno but that one! I know a guy that ran one back in the mid 1970s and he ran a D&A phantom driven with a mav 250 driven with a set of mark 2's into his and it worked well for him! |

From an old timer  Super magie, full length radals,
mighty mag 2 & 3 coil loaded rads. Worked alot of them. 3.75db gain over isotopic supermag, about 4.0 mighty mags. Good for about 500 max. You can pull the coil cover and resolder load joints with silver solder (after cleaning) and do a little more. I wish I had one. Worked the world couple times over on the supermaggie
