will it do 1 watt swing to 30 on low varible dead key must go that low is it possible or am i dreaming thanks you panama in the cornfield back quiet.

Without replacing internal parts (which voids the FACTORY warranty) there is not much of a way to get the amount of modulation necessary to carry a 1 watt deadkey to 30 watts PEP. At least not in that radio. Mod decreases as AM carrier decreases.
