In their day they were great. In today's market they rank average. |

Average? Is that good or bad? It seems in the CB world everything is marginal.. |

Tech671......Is that an average rating taking in consideration all the custom mades like XFORCE and DAVEMADE or is it just a comparison among all the "Stock" amps? |

I'd take a Xforce or Dave Made over any Messenger or any stock amp. Not to mention they'll out perform any mass produced amp. |

I know someone that had a Messenger M500 and on 15 volts it would swing to 550 on a Bird 43P.......he went with a Davemade 200 (2 pill) with a M40 driver and it equaled the messenger. That just about sums it up. |

What? Davemade and XForce are mass produced amps. |

Not mass produced, as we think of it. You can call either of these places, and talk to the person that made your amp. You can also talk to them before your amp is made, and ask for a particular deviation, you cant do that with a lot of these other amps unless you can talk taiwanese, haha |
