I have had a galaxy 55 and it was a solid radio. I was curious about the Galaxy 33 or the 44? Any positive feedback....I am looking for a good recieving radio, not the loudest but the best recieve.

Well....In my opinion , the best of the Galaxy radios is the DX-33. It does not have a counter but it seems to be the better one...that is on my bench...

55, 44, and 33 all use the same chassis.

I have a dx33 and its got to be the best radio i have ever owned. Very plezed with it. Its about 5 to 6 years old and been worked on one time, when i bought it new i had it t&p. I'm still geting around 30watts from it today. I love it.
