Well i thank ya!!! Ok, but heres a question..
Is there a mod out there for the 3500 NB/ANL circuit to make it more effective on AM? Like replacing a cap or a resistor with a higher value to make the circuit more effective?

Hello.. How do you like the AR-3500's receive?? Does it have a "high-gain/low noise" receiver?

You can align the NB side of the circuit to work better , however the ANL is fixed (diode and cap) across the AM Detector and can't be changed HOWEVER go to Radio Shack , get a pack of GERMANIUM DIODES and put ""2" of them (back to back) on the anode side of the AM Detector to ground. This will stop all spikes greater that 3/10's of a volt to enter the Input Stages and greatly reduce noise and pulses. Back to Back means reverse one , lay it ontop the other in parallel. This works on any radio...
